The Xperia Play codenamed Zeus, made by Sony Ericsson, is a smartphone that brings game console functionality. The Xperia Play smartphone, powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, this is the first device to be part of the PlayStation Certified program which means that it can play PlayStation Suite games. The Xperia Play brings a dedicated game controls, they are virtually the same controls you’ll find on a PSP Go or a PlayStation DualShock controller. And there’s the 4 inch touchscreen of course.

Desain and Dimensions
The XperiaPlay looks bigs and bulky with the dimension of 119 x 62 x 16 mm and hefty which it weighs in at 175 g. The device is a horizontally sliding phone with its original form resembling the Xperia X10 while the slider below resembles the slider of the PSP Go. The slider features a D-Pad (directional pad) on the left side, a set of standard PlayStation buttons on the right side, touchpad in the middle, start and select buttons on the bottom right corner, an option button on the bottom left corner, and two shoulder buttons (L and R) on the back of the device.

Inside The heart of Xperia Play CPU there is 1 GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Adreno 205 GPU, MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset platform. Snapdragon Chipset has been also powering HTC Desire HD and Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray.

The Xperia Play equipped with 512 MB RAM, an internal storage with space of 400 MB, also features an expansion storage microSD up to 32 MB.
